江蘇省蘇北人民醫(yī)院又名揚州大學(xué)附屬蘇北人民醫(yī)院、南京醫(yī)科大學(xué)揚州臨床醫(yī)學(xué)院。醫(yī)院前身是美國浸禮會1900年創(chuàng)辦的揚州浸會醫(yī)院，1994年被原衛(wèi)生部評定為江蘇省首批三級甲等綜合性醫(yī)院，先后獲得全國文明單位、全國衛(wèi)生系統(tǒng)先進(jìn)集體、全國改革創(chuàng)新醫(yī)院、全國改善醫(yī)療服務(wù)示范醫(yī)院、全國醫(yī)保管理先進(jìn)集體、全國巾幗建功先進(jìn)集體、全國醫(yī)院后勤管理創(chuàng)新先進(jìn)單位、江蘇省十佳醫(yī)院等榮譽稱號。
